Volunteer opportunities at the Mineola Nature Preserve:

Docents for Mineola Preserve

The primary responsibilities of the docents would be to answer guests questions, provide maps and other handouts, assist guests in completing a short survey regarding their experiences at the Preserve, and to promote the Friends of the Preserve program; guides for interpretive walks.

We would also like volunteers that are willing to help out with projects current and future that require some physical labor. We have done clean ups that involve trimming trees, raking, cutting grass walkways and moving larger materials.

We’re always looking for volunteers that can help out with item sales and during our fundraisers. If you are interested, please contact us and we will put you on the list of helpers.
